Project Future

The Project entitled Eurolang 2012 has been concentrated around the language course for Euro 2012 guests. Our activities concentrate not only around the preparation of the course and getting to know the language but also around the culture of Poland and Ukraine during Euro 2012, and finally are to inspire Europeans to get to know central Europe as well as to bring closer the relations at the social-business level of the various European countries. As of now the project has been concentrated around Euro 2012: the preparation of didactic materials indispensable in the process of learning foreign languages and their placement upon the eurolang2012 website.

We take utmost care in order to make sure that the internet website is under constant development, therefore we are open to any suggestions and we make sure that they are taken into the consideration during the process of constant course enhancement.

In 2010 we will take utmost care in the mastering of the didactic materials: translations, preparations of texts, audio as well as graphic materials. We are open to any criticism therefore we are planning to convey the assessment with the application of partnership universities and colleges, institutions as well as project co-ordinators, so that to verify whether the determined activities by us will meet the requirements of the future course participants.

In order to offer the exceptional character to the whole undertaking, the website does not only contain the current Euro 2012 information and the project but it also contains blog accounts, thus offering the chance for the citizens of the European society to speak out upon the matters remaining within their interest. We will discuss the issues of European languages, informative society, the European Union and Euro 2012 of course.

We will also undertake actions aimed at the website management so that during Euro 2012 the project interest surpasses our expectations. In order to achieve the aforementioned goals we will concentrate on website positioning activities, for it to place high in web engine search results and to be associated and indexed with various keywords.

The concentration of our activities around the Internet shall allow for the reaching of various recipient groups, the construction of the project brand as well as the foundation for the construction of relations with partners preoccupied with the preparation of Euro 2012.

Project marketing activities shall constitute the important activity, within the aforementioned time period, so that during the period immediately preceding Euro 2012 the fans, who visit us, are able to obtain interesting information with regard to Poland and Ukraine and that they can actively participate in Polish and Ukrainian language classes. We would like our project to be associated with the fast access to the information related to the culture as well as to the specifics of both countries and above all the availability of the foreign language learning opportunities.

In the year of the event we will offer professional substantial, administration as well as marketing and promotion project servicing. We have assumed that within the first months of 2012 the website will be visited by the minimum of 100.000 visitors, whereas the course will be visited by about 50% of all of the visitors. The majority of all of the course participants will use the didactic materials to suit their needs, in such manner so that to be able to freely communicate during Euro 2012.

Quickly upon the completion of the event we are planning to prepare profiled didactic language teaching materials at the A1 level, for the particular sectors and industries operating within the sector of small and average sized companies (amongst others for tourism, trade, construction etc.) This means that our project shall be subject to constant development in order to change the picture of Poland and Ukraine and that our guests will have made new acquaintances and came back here, not only for the following sports events.

Project "Euro 2012" is addressed to participants, visitors and football fans coming to the European Football Championship, which will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine in the summer 2012.

Apart from logistical support (accommodation, travel, stay) the participants will need practical language guide and cultural information package, helping them to participate in Euro 2012 and move in hosting countries without communicative barriers.

The aim of the project will be to develop comprehensive didactic materials related to Polish and Ukrainian languages and culture: on-line language courses and practical information guide tending to present their specific features.
