Ukraine supports the EUROLANG

The last week of January has been very beneficial for the  Eurolang 2012 project. The meetings in Lviv, Donetsk and Kiev have resulted in establishing the cooperation with local authorities and different key players who are responsible for the preparation of Euro 2012 events in Ukraine.

Project Future

The Project entitled Eurolang 2012 has been concentrated around the language course for Euro 2012 guests. Our activities concentrate not only around the preparation of the course and getting to know the language but also around the culture of Poland and Ukraine during Euro 2012, and finally are to inspire Europeans to get to know central Europe as well as to bring closer the relations at the social-business level of the various European countries.

Ukrainian Problems

More than a month ago we informed You about the list chances of the Polish National Team for the 2010 World Championships. Unfortunately, our 2012 Euro partners lost their chances for the taking part in the upcoming Championships within the doubleheader against Greece.

Goodbye Africa

The final defeat of 0:1 against Slovakia means that the Polish Football National Team will not take part within the 2010 World Championships

Languages meet sport

With great satisfaction we would like to share the information with regard to the fact that during the conference entitled “Languages meet sport” we presented our project of EuroLang 2012. Learning a language through sport as well as getting to know the culture of other nations is supported by the European Union within the project entitled „Life Long Learning”.

Project "Euro 2012" is addressed to participants, visitors and football fans coming to the European Football Championship, which will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine in the summer 2012.

Apart from logistical support (accommodation, travel, stay) the participants will need practical language guide and cultural information package, helping them to participate in Euro 2012 and move in hosting countries without communicative barriers.

The aim of the project will be to develop comprehensive didactic materials related to Polish and Ukrainian languages and culture: on-line language courses and practical information guide tending to present their specific features.
